  • Amicitia Travel is an intermediary between travelers and the trusted suppliers responsible for providing activities, accommodations, and transportation included in the itinerary.

  • Delayed, canceled, or modified flights, as well as tours, transportation, or any other scheduled activity or itinerary affected by flight changes, are non-refundable and are not the responsibility of Amicitia Travel or suppliers. Any rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

  • An emergency contact must be provided by the client.

Travel Seasons Cosa Rica:

Green Season: The Green Season, spanning May to June and September to November, is considered the period with fewer visitors to the country.

High Season: High season, from December to April and July to August, is marked by a higher number of travelers visiting the country.

Peak Season: During this time, both travelers and locals are on vacation and holidays, making it the busiest season of the year.

Cancellations:

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the following email: info@amicitiatravels.com.

  • Cancellations made within 30 days before the trip will incur a 100% penalty with no refund.
  • During high season, cancellations within 60 days before the trip will be fully penalized.
  • During peak season, cancellations within 90 days before the trip will be fully penalized.

Cancellation policies may vary depending on the supplier. Additional fees may apply based on their

policies, and Amicitia Travel will provide this information at the time of booking.

Modification: To modify an existing confirmation or private itinerary, availability must first be confirmed with the supplier. Once availability is confirmed, additional charges may apply based on the supplier’s rates or the dates of the changes.

Payments: All payments are processed in U.S. Dollars. Amicitia Travel provides a secure payment method for itinerary confirmation, and the payment and/or card must be owned by the same person confirming the services. Payments must be completed according to the payment plan provided by Amicitia.

To confirm a reservation with Amicitia Travel, a prepayment is required. The deposit amount may vary depending on the itinerary, supplier, or season. In general, a 15% prepayment is required, with the total balance due at least 45 days before the arrival date. Specific payment requirements may vary based on supplier policies and seasonal conditions, and these will be communicated at the time of booking.

  • Please note that special prepayment and cancellation policies may apply due to seasonal demands or specific supplier requirements. These conditions will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • For unconfirmed itineraries without the required pre-payment, Amicitia Travel is not responsible for any automatic cancellations due to delayed or unpaid itinerary reservations.
